Commit 9e154465b2265359a8ec7bb27defc4449a3a15ff, install qutebrowser and
browse some website(in example: gnu.org), qutebrowser cannot display text. screenshot
attached.

But I visit the https://lichess.org, it can display some text. I guess
that those text use font specified by website (webfont), but other text
are using local font, but qutebrowser failed to render them.

I also test with other qtwebengine based application, they suffer from
same issue.

Tweaks the qt.args in Qutebrowser by adding "no-sandbox" it now renders
text properly, I guess the sandbox of qtwebengine is broken.

Hi,

I’ve been experiencing the same issue with RStudio (which uses
qtwebengine under the hood)[1]. The workaround is the same, but it seems
qtwebengine 5.15.7 has a fix for this issue[2] caused by an upgrade to
glibc 2.33. So the solution would be to upgrade our qtwebengine package.

Cheers,
Lars

Yes, this issue should be a duplicate of

But I'm not sure whether we can update qtwebengine without touching other Qt components.

Still broken, AFAIK. I have been launching qutebrowser from a terminal
with the sandbox disabled for what feels like months now... Also,
unrelated, but my keystrokes get duplicated in the address bar as I type
at times, and the audio has literally never worked for me in qutebrowser
on guix. The package could use a lot of love. I think not many here use
it, unfortunately. (personally, I'm on Sway if it matters)
?
